Fast - Accurate - Broadband
The RadiPower® is a RF power meter designed for CW power measurements during EMC testing. The RadiPower® is an affordable, fast and accurate power meter. The power meter is able to perform measurements with an accuracy of 0.15 dB within a frequency band from 9 kHz to 6 GHz (RPR1006A). This makes effective immunity measurements in accordance with EMC standards possible.
Plug in card
The RadiPower® head can be connected to a USB1004A plug-in card. This plug-in card can support up to four RadiPower® heads enabling forward- and reflected power measurments of two amplifiers with only one instrument. The plug in card fits in the RadiCentre® EMC measurement system, which is available in a 1-, 2- or 8-slot version.
Stand-alone
The RadiPower® head can also be used in stand-alone configuration. In that case the power head is connected to a PC by means of an USB cable.
Fast
The RadiPower® is extremely fast especially at low power levels, which is often the case when immunity tests are performed at low immunity levels. The fast measurement capability can result in an overall measurement speed improvement of more than 50%.
High dynamic range
The RadiPower® provides a dynamic range of 65 dB which makes it suitable for all EMC applications.
Wide band
Its frequency band from 9 kHz till 6 GHz makes it a perfect product for all EMC measurements including Military-, Automotive- and CE marking EMC immunity testing.
High precision measurements
The RadiPower® allows high precision EMC measurements with high dynamic range. With an accuracy of 0.15 dB over the complete band it is suitable for testing in accordance to EN61000-4-x or ISO11451-x.Immunity Applications
Immunity applications require either the field or the power to be measured. Actual fields can be measured with the RadiSense® e-field sensor. The RadiPower® is capable of measuring the power. Very often forward as well as reflected power has to be measured. As the RadiPower® plug-in card can accommodate 4 heads the RadiPower® solution is well suited for EMC power measurements.
Measurement Uncertainty
As impedance mismatch is often the main contribution to the measurement uncertainty the RadiPower® has a very low Standing Wave Ratio (SWR). Because of this very good measurement uncertainties are obtainable with the RadiPower®.
